Seven-person band was creat by musicians from Music Academy from Krakow and Katowice, combining different musical styles, interweaving jazz, folk and electronics to create a unique language of their perfomances.

The instruments of the ensemble include such instruments as clarinet, trumpet, saxophones, also guitar, mandola, bass, ethnic percussion, drums and electronic bulgarian samples performed by DJ Ludwik Zamenhof.

 Balkanscream performed during many concerts and festivals on one stage with artist like Dikanda, Mahala Rai Banda, Bisz / BOK, Adam Strug or Dagadana. They had opportunity play on Pannonica Folk Festival (2016), International Folk Meetings Małopolska (2016), Slot Art Festival (2016), Tak Brzmi Miasto (2016), Night Wrocław (2016),Wiano Tychy Festival (2017) and many others.

In 2015 released three singles: ”Metro", "Sedum" and "Memories of Sarajevo". Work allowed the release first professional-studio album called "Street Melodies". There are 9 original songs in the modern Balkan style. In addition, there are two remixes for the songs "Balkan Čoček" and "Üsküdara" by famous Cracow DJ Ludwik Zamenhof. Last single "Shofar", was publish in 2016.
