The group was founded in 2013 by Anna Malacina-Karpiel (vocals) and Krzysztof Czech (violin). In summer 2015 Holeviaters released its debut album "sing sing folk&swing". The recording contains jazz standards as well as self-written songs.
Openness to new inspirations leads the group to an exceptional combination of different genres. By finding similarities in harmony and melody, the musicians cunningly merge traditional folk music with well-known American jazz pieces. The charismatic and lively musical folklore accompanied by excellent instrumental skills evoke the feeling of constant dance euphoria. The band's image, which derives from the 1930s and 1940s, takes all music lovers on a trip to the golden era of swing.
The band has performed a number of concerts in Poland and abroad (The Czech Republic).
