Widymo hosted on Polish and foreign stages. In addition, the vocal group has been invited to various international, folk and ethnic music festivals, as well intimate singing concerts in museums, galleries and clubs. The ensemble has performed in many festivals so far: e.g. ”International festival of East Slavic Carols” (Terespol-Warsaw), ”Ethno Evolution” (Kosmach in Ukraine), ”Dzyga” (Lviv), ”Slovakiatour” (Bratislava).
In 2005, the vocal group won the third award during the”Open Stage” concert at The International Folk Music Festival ”Mikołajki Folkowe” in Lublin. It also made a guest appearance in a music record of the group Village Kollektiv – „Motion Rootz Experimental”. Moreover, in 2008, Widymo cooperated with the group Blackhole Factory in realising the Polish-German project ”Sanok Songlines”.
In 2011, during the 14th edition of the Polish Radio’s ”New Tradition” Folk Music Festival, the ensemble was appreciated by the jury and won the audience award ”The Storm of Applause”.
Widymo created a project Electro-Widymo (2011) with Denis Kolokol, the composer of electronic music from Zaporozhye and Alexander Chikmakov, the guitarist from Alma Ata. It was presented at the National Museum in Krakow and at the International Festival of Hutsul ”Slavic Atlantis” in Sanok gallery ”Bazar Sztuki”. In September 2012, the group was touring North Rhine-Westphalia on ”Alba Kultur” invitation. The project took place within a framework of the network of global music ”Klongkosmos”. One of the concerts was transmitted by WDR3. In 2013, Widymo as the guest ensemble appeared on the recording –”Beograd” – the Acoustic Acrobats band. Widymo involves in various artistic initiatives that aim at conservation of cultural heritage and cooperates with Artistic Univeristy in Folklore and Handicrafts in Wola Sękowa, either.
