The WoWaKin band consist of a three musicians. Paula Kinaszewska is a singer and violinist collecting and performing traditional Polish music and also a stage actress. She is awarded for acting and music, and is involved in many theatrical projects connected with traditional and contemporary music. The second one is Mateusz Wachowiak. He is a classically educated accordionist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and versatile musician playing the Balkan music and tango. The third from the trio is Bartłomiej Woźniak is an award winning composer, author of music for theater and film, as well as songs. Jazz guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer.
Trio performs mazurkas, oberkas, polkas, kuyaviaks, tangos, foxtrots, songs and lullabies from the regions of Radom, Kielce and Sanniki. Apart from the violin, three-row Polish accordion and drums they use banjouke and harmonica.
In 2016 the band debuted on the most important folk music competition in Poland "The New Tradition Festival", and won the third prize. Since then they gave a lot of concerts. The Trio also won third prize at the festival "Mikołajki Folkowe" 2016 in Lublin. 17.09.2017 they released their first CD album called “Kraj za miastem”.
