Changing it turned out not to be so easy. After experimenting with various artists and sounds, it was not until 2014 when Krzikopa started performing at larger festivals, where they made the youngsters jump frivolously to old, traditional, silesian folk songs, and gained a lot of supporters, among which, suprisingly, also some older folks appeared saying: "I remember that tune! My grandma used to sing that to me!". That was astonishing and fulfilling.
Since then Krzikopa went even further, when vocalists Kate, Karo and violinist Adam joined the band in 2015, applying traditional singing and playing techniques, making Krzikopa sound event more ethnic, without losing it's folk-elektro power, made by Krzikopa's sound-system of Dominik, and the band's drummer Spacepierre, who is known for his wild accoustic-elektro drumming experiments, making the band's sound really interesting and yet powerful and energetic. With that kind of mix Krzikopa will surely see to that the silesian music tradition goes on.
